For a brief moment, “A Castle in the Clouds” is in a top 10 list at Every Day Fiction. Nice thing to wake up to. Must be because of all the voting you guys did — thanks!

    Erin, your story is dreamy, gorgeous, and surreal. I love love love it. It totally deserves to be on the top ten. It reminded me of a movie called, Howl’s Moving Castle (Japanese steam-punk). At least, that’s the animation I used in my head while reading your story. I’m gonna go read it some more.
